Despite its compact design, it has two LGA 2011-3 slots which can be installed with two powerful Intel Xeon processors. With its versatility it serves perfectly as a host, web, mail, file, or storage server for small businesses. The clear advantage is complete remote server management with an intuitive interface that allows for a variety of operations, including remote BIOS update.

Excellent expandability with PIKE solution
Two powerful processors add up to 8 DDR4 memories with a maximum frequency of 2,400MHz. Ten SATA 6Gbit/s connectors offer support for mass storage capacity. An alternative configuration with 9 SATA III connectors and an M.2 slot can also be selected for a fast SSD.
The new generation of ASUS boards is equipped with a new PIKE solution for users who want to use several PIKE II cards to increase its scalability. For example, you can add highly reliable 12Gbit/s SAS to further improve performance. There are six PCI Express 3.0 slots for a variety of expansion options.
