KOUWELL 5117E

Useful Serial ATA controller providing two internal and two external (eSATA) ports for connection of modern executive discs.Newton is suitable to the older computers without Serial ATA ports, as well as to newer machines for the extension of the existing ports.Fully supports the standard Serial ATA 1st0 with transmission speeds of up to 150 MB / s and standard Serial ATA II with a speed of up to 300 MB / s.The card is attached to the computer using a PCI interface.It has the support of RAID in regimes 0, 1, 0 +1.

The support NCQ.Technology NCQ imposes requirements on reading into the cache and the knowledge of the position of heads of readers set optimal route for the fastest move to the desired location.Requirements for access to the disk are continuously evaluated and route headers is still modified.As a result, this reduces vibration readers heads and accelerate access to the disc attached to Serial ATA port.

The card complies with the European Union RoHS directive prohibiting the use of hazardous substances in electrical products, is thus much more environmentally friendly.
