I wanted a bigger monitor than the 32 inch I currently have. Unfortunately, curved larger monitors are very few and priced too high or are 21:9, which makes them smaller than 32 inches when using 16:9. For example, a 40 inch 21:9 monitor has the screen area of a 32 inch monitor when using 16:9. This monitor is expensive too, but the size, aspect ratio, features, and IPS panel I was hoping justified the price. My initial enthusiasm with the colors and size and execution gradually diminished and diminished with testing. The design and packaging is first class. The ports are differently positioned, the main ones also have a magnetic cap. There is a ready thread and USB for the camera on top, the monitor control is in the bottom middle. Just by design, awesome whether you use it or not. The size is just awesome for a PC monitor, not too small or too big. Features like USB control and night vision and more, I was really looking forward to these because I've gotten used to them from the MSI monitor. This is where the disappointment started to come in, with features like night vision not working well enough and disabling brightness settings. The control app was choppy and stopped working no matter what I tried. I also started to feel more eyestrain from the flat display. For gaming though, the monitor was great and the colors and response were perfect. So I put on my favorite show for a breather and that was the end of it. Suddenly the picture seemed faded compared to my old VA monitor. I didn't see anything in the darker scenes. It was so horrible I couldn't believe it. I've played other movies and compared it to the old VA monitor and other than cartoons it was a disaster. For me, this monitor was a big disappointment. If it had at least been curved I probably would have considered keeping it for work, but this is how I ended up returning it.
But I can't rate the monitor completely negatively, because it excels in certain things, even though it's not a very versatile monitor thanks to its flaws and probably the IPS panel. But if you don't mind a flat monitor or even require one and want a monitor mainly for work, occasional gaming and don't require any special features like night vision, etc., this 38-inch monitor is the perfect choice. The size and colors are really perfect for work, and if I got this monitor at work just for work, I probably couldn't fault it. But at home I want a monitor that can do everything and where I can relax.

Beautiful IPS panel colours, at least until you watch a movie. I found the colors great for games and work, but once I put on some non-animated movies, I felt sick. This is probably due to the contrast, which is 1000:1 for these panels. Compared to the VA 3000:1 panel, the cinematic experience was truly disastrous, not only in the darker scenes but also in the lighter ones.
Control via app via USB (but the control failed a couple of times and didn't work until reboot, not as good as MSI)

Not curved (As you go from curved to straight, you feel that the straight monitor is curved backwards. You will also noticeably feel your eyes focusing sideways at that moment and you will notice how tired it can make your eyes after a long time)
The added features of Asus are not as good and sophisticated as those of MSI. They often limit the use of other features and do not produce the same result as MSI. For example, using Night Vision at the highest level disables even the brightness adjustment function and loses usability, while it is possible to see in shadows even worse than with MSI, which also has no limitation
The USB control app has crashed or stopped controlling my monitor several times even when everything seemed to be working. Sometimes it also reacted with considerable delay.
