pretty good stuff for recreational viewing. My daughter got it as a gift, good for a complete amateur. Don't expect any miracle to see anything more than the moon.

I was expecting it to be nothing much, I just wanted a cheap scope for basic touching and testing - with the idea of getting a better quality one later. But I didn't expect such a big deal, this junk is not even usable at the basic level. The optics reminded me of a child's plastic binoculars and the tripod is rather ridiculous. The stated weight of 2.25 kg is probably including the tripod, backpack and probably the box - the telescope itself is light as a feather. Nothing fits together, not even the eyepiece caps stick and everything has a clearance measurable in centimetres. I would recommend it for one purpose only: if you have someone and you really want them to give up on all telescopes and preferably astronomy in general, this is the right gift. I guess this can discourage even the biggest enthusiast.
