Disappointed with the purchase of this soundbar We have had this product in our home for over a month and I feel very disappointed with it. One, for me huge, disadvantage is the lack of English in the setup mode. Just an incomprehensible thing to me. Another thing that disappointed me is the sound setup. I can switch the TV's sound in the operating mode, so I can hear an instant change in the settings and therefore know which sound suits my ears better. This is not possible with this soundbar. If I want to change the sound of the soundbar, both the picture and sound will turn off on the TV and jump to the soundbar settings screen. By the time you change the sound settings and retune to the same scene to compare the sound, you de facto don't remember the sound before. For me, another major malaise. I'm a little disappointed with the soundbar performance when watching TV, as I feel like the sound is better from it in some cases (XR-55A80L). As for listening to music, I have to praise the soundbar there. The music from it sounds very nice and you can hear the bass beautifully.

This soundbar from Sony sounds very nice as a whole, the reproduction is faithful, the highs are not boomy and the mids are not missing, but for watching movies, more bass is missing, which is missing mainly effects. Of course, compared to the built-in speakers in the TV, it's light years away, but for the money I was expecting "wow". Sourround effect sounds unnatural, better turn it off. Apart from a few preset EQ profiles, you can't correct the treble, bass only in 3 stages (I rate as none - miserable - insufficient). For a full experience, you need to dig deeper into your wallet and buy an external subwoofer (and rear speakers for a surround effect). It would still make sense to me with a Sony TV, otherwise I recommend looking elsewhere - a soundbar that doesn't sound much worse can be bought elsewhere for significantly cheaper.
