I bought this chair with a discount voucher for less than 12 hundred as a replacement for an old office chair that has been repaired about 10 times, but has lasted me 20 years. I bought it because of its higher load capacity, which makes me think it could last a while. It has a wider seat, but it's quite short because of the bulging backrest. If you're used to the classic design, sitting in it is not ergonomic. The wheels are the cheapest you can get and if you don't want to ruin your floor, I definitely recommend replacing them with better ones. After a week of using it, I've gotten pretty used to it, but I'm still bothered by the backrest. If it were straight, it would be better. If I stretch out in the chair and lean back into it, there are unpleasant cracking noises, so I'm not entirely sure of its strength. Time will tell.
