I needed an external sound card because Lenovo laptops don't have a microphone input and that's why I got it - it fulfills its purpose well, it can amplify the bass with little distortion and it doesn't mind the bass at 60 Hz pulled up to the maximum in two equalizers at the same time. A good bonus is the very small size, which I did not expect such a good service.
when plugging in headphones and microphone at the same time, there is a faint crackle in the recording, you need to use the default sound card for playback and an external one for recording.
