I've been transitioning from a Connect IT mouse that went to silicon heaven after 4 years and it really is heaven and smoke. I work mainly on photo editing and this mouse is really what I've needed for a while, accurate both on click and on travel, just heavy and quiet. It's a blast. And since my original mouse left suddenly, I chose it purely based on other people's reviews and I have to admit that it's really good. So my hand is a bit big for a girl, I'm not used to my hand lying on the mouse like a fish, so I don't get those dodges from nothing and stuff. On the contrary, I welcome precision and sensitivity. So, for me, I recommend it: )

I chose this mouse to replace
Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse Bluetooth. This one is a bit taller, but again has a back and forward button.

Battery life and sensor/dpi type were the main reasons for the purchase. The reason for the return is the strange shape where, even if I adjust the grip of the narrow but tall mouse, the super-sensitive right button will constantly press itself if the finger is just resting on it. Avoid silent mouse buttons (at least with a smaller hand).

I'm returning the mouse because the clicking (as they made it super-quiet) is so terribly sensitive that the second button in particular gets accidentally pressed almost all the time, and my frustration level has gone beyond tolerable.
a bit high for a smaller hand and if you adjust your grip so that the middle finger is on the wheel and the ring finger on the right button (which is not the most natural grip for the hand to just rest on the mouse, but you get used to it), the ring finger will still accidentally press the right button
The Logitech m185 for a small hand will suit more, but the reason I wanted a bigger (and faster) mouse is the large monitor. A wide and low mouse may suit smaller hands, but that's not this mouse!
works perfectly without any software, but if you want to install the configuration software for this mouse Logi Options+, forget it if you have WIndows 7.
