Very happy with these headphones
Great sound, very efficient noise cancelling system.
Initially I had an issue using XM5 with TV, sound was distorted. Then I figured out there is setting in Sony app to have stability preference vs quality, by default it is quality. Changing to stability fixed the problem.

Po cca 4 měsících přidávám recenzi. Ze začátku používání mě často bolela hlava kvůli úzkému pásku přes hlavu. Po dlouhém poslouchání (3+ hodiny) se zapnutým ANC mě z toho taky často bolela hlava. Ale nemusíte se bát. Po maximálně měsíci si na to hlava zvykla a všechny tyto problémy přestali. Od té doby, co všechny tyto problémy přestali, jsem maximálně spokojen. Taky bych doporučil nováčkům s ANC si to někde vyzkoušet, abyste věděli, do čeho jdete.

Well built headphones, thanks to not bending they don't have weak hinges like others. the swivel shells fit comfortably on the head. Except they are a bit too warm for my ears and I had a problem with the touch panel which was solved by replacing with a new piece

I picked the Airpods Max as a cheaper option, and I think it's a decent replacement. There was also a very good promotion on Alza, so it was really worth it. Sony is a very good brand and they are made of good quality material. The travel pack is a good bonus.

A great shift in noise cancellation. I had the older generation WH-1000XM2 and the change is significant. Even when sitting in complete silence, noise cancelling generates virtually no noise.
Fits perfectly around the ears.

Sony WH-1000XM5 are really cool headphones! They have great sound and amazingly quiet noise cancelling technology. You can enjoy the music without being disturbed by your surroundings. The sound quality is really good with nice bass, clear mids and clean highs. Great for listening to music and traveling. It's just a shame that the material they used on the headphones isn't as durable. If you touch them, they can get marks on them, and if you use them a lot, they can get a little worn. That's about the only thing that disappointed me a little bit about them. Overall though, the Sony WH-1000XM5 are a really good choice if you want headphones with excellent sound and noise cancellation. Their only weakness is the material used, so beware of them.
