very thin disk and elegantly designed
the disk could not be written to after three hours of use and I always maintain a safe disconnection of the hardware. The USB slot is quite large in such a small device and the whole impression is quite unstable design of the model. Either I found the wrong piece, or it's just another failure in a series of extremely thin models. I don't recommend it, but I am basing it on my own experience.

I hope that the lifespan will be similar (older HDD is 6.5 years)
the speed of the new HDDs is slightly faster than the older ones
Ideal for archiving and backup purposes, compared to SSDs, they preserve stored data for long periods (years) without power
