Super parameters and design.
I bought two pieces in a row, and both had the same fault - when configuring the WAN port to DHCP client mode, the router never accepted the IP address. It looked as if the cable was not connected to the WAN port. When I set a static IP, everything went fine. Probably ZyXel has a problem in FW. I tried to flash the latest FW, but nothing changed.
Since this function is essential for me, I had to return both pieces. I picked up the slightly more expensive, but recommended ASUS RT-N12U and everything goes as it should. ZyXel disappointed me.
