Unfortunately, the board on the intel socket 1150 with cpu i7-4790k burned out, so I needed a quick replacement. After a long consideration and reading reviews, after 15 years I went back to AMD (most recently Athlon XP). I like Intel, but I didn' t have the time or the finances to make a fool of myself and pay extra. So I went to Ryzen
It performs differently than the previous i7-4790k. Tech about 5 years difference is known.
What a joke. Good procak for ridiculous money
Temperatures worry me a bit. I threw away the original Wraith Stealth cooler after 2 days and bought a SilentiumPC Spartan RGB and with it and MX4 paste, the temperature at idle is about 45-50 degrees and at full load it can easily reach 75 degrees. The cooling fan keeps adding and subtracting (pwm setting) and I don' t like that. It reacts to the load, as indicated by the frequency of the order of casting up and down. Even if there is no reason.
As I wrote, I' m Intelack and I' m used to different temperatures and CPU behavior. It' s probably normal for AMD, but it' s good to see the temperature difference between these two manufacturers. The engineers at AMD haven' t figured it out yet
