After my negative experience with the cheaper WH-H910N, I was concerned that the 1000XM4 would suffer in the joint area. After more than half a year, it doesn't seem to be a problem yet. Compared to them, the 1000XM4 have a slightly shorter battery life, better ANC and for me comparable sound.

time for new headphones, and I have had many. These are by far the best I have ever owned. The comfort, sound quality, and noise cancelling are two to three levels above anything I have had before. And the battery life is fantastic, with heavy use i still only charge them once every 1-2 weeks

Completely stupid software and "smart" features that make the headset useless for online meetings
Sidetone function cannot be turned off, so when you listen to a meeting the headphones amplify the ambient noise
Detection of removed headphones can not be turned off for phone calls, so when you take off the headphones so the teams begin to roar from the phone, and then they do not switch back and you have to restart the headphones
NC cannot be turned on for phone calls.
My piece has a terrible right side creak when I walk.

I really wanted to like the headphones and tried very hard to justify the purchase to myself. Primarily due to the high price and the quite hilarious design. Unfortunately after a week of use I returned them completely disappointed. I completely don't understand the reviews I saw before buying, which only very marginally pointed out the NC mode noise. I don't think I have significantly above average hearing, but the very audible, constant "white" noise in NC mode was completely unbearable for me in a product for the money. I buy expensive headphones with the expectation of high quality and a good experience of reproduced music. These headphones completely fail at this. None of the 3 modes (Noise-Canceling, Ambient or Default without effect) provide a comfortable listening experience. With noise cancellation off, at the slightest micro movement the headphone material makes a rather loud sound when rubbed against the ears and head and is very distracting. Ambient sound naturally sucks in all the noise from the surroundings and often amplifies it, which again does not make for a good listening experience and I have already described the problem with NC. I don't quite understand the success in reviews of these headphones. I bought a higher model xm5 in exchange, which is much more expensive, but it almost eliminates all the above mentioned problems. NoiseCanceling still produces a faint high-pitched noise/tone, but compared to the XM4 it can be considered virtually inaudible. Considering the price even after the BlackFriday discounts, I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Even Ambient (the last of the 3 available) mode does not provide comfortable listening - which it is not designed to do, but since the other 2 are not good either, it deserves to be pointed out
