I'm terribly disappointed, I hesitated to buy it for a long time. Old Samsung Buds after 3 years I'm already pretty stupid so I hit myself in the pocket that I'll make myself happy, and I'm rather sad about it. Although the headphones don't physically look like that, they are obviously named after the previous owner Radek, who had a Xiomi phone, the headphones remembered the pairing.

They don't hold much, they fall out easily, not for sport.
The passive ambient sound damping is pretty shameful, but the ANC saves the day.
The touch controls on the headphones are terrible, I want to change the volume, which is what I usually want and it does anything but that. Here they should take inspiration from Samsung.
Even after tuning to maximum, just weak bass.
Price
The design isn't the worst, but I prefer the Samsungs.

The headphones are top quality, I had the wf-1000xm3 and changing them to the wf-1000xm5 is a 100% upgrade.
Not for everyone logically as price or comfort, the sound is TOP for me just need to set them right and get used to how they sit in your ears I have no reason to be dissatisfied I have always been satisfied with Sony headphones.
Power.
Quality, good workmanship + design.
Sound, just set it up and all is well.

The ANC is indeed better and the sound quality is better, but I found it too bassy and the mids bland. Anyway, who listens to you tube, spotify etc. the difference does not recognize the need to download Hi Res music. The controls are a disaster and hitting the sensor is sometimes a problem. Fitting it into the ear needs a few movements, pushing and a little patience. The feeling with the headphones is similar to foam noise cancellers. After an hour my ears hurt and I can't enjoy the music. They disappointed me a lot, so much so that after one day I will return them because they press in the ear, slippery surface, price does not correspond to the quality, controllability illogical. Overall they have top music but in everything else it's a disaster they are worse than the MX4 or Ipods pro 2, fuck elite7 pro. For me 3 stars just for the music and the ANC.

The foam plugs are hard to clean and were dirty almost immediately, just a tiny amount
Taking them out of the case is difficult, the glossy surface is very slippery and they have fallen out and if I am out and about it will be a disaster.
The volume control is tapped 4 times. That's the kind of crap he just made up. just miss once and you'll move the song. Tap settings can only be set according to predefined schemes and individual taps are limited.

I'm not an audiophile and I want true-wireless headphones mainly because of the compactness and the fact that the cable doesn't tangle anywhere. I listen in the evening before bed or during sports and use the headphones for online meetings. For the first two, these headphones are not suitable, for the meeting they would be fine, if they did not fall out of my ears. Contrary to other comments, I had no problem with gripping and taking the headphones out of the box, they stick out enough.
Well crafted box
The black matte color of the box is definitely more practical than the glossy white of other headphones
Lazy foam plugs are more comfortable than traditional rubber plugs
It doesn't fit in my ears. They push and sometimes fall out even when I don't make any violent movements.
Sensitive touch button, impossible to adjust the position of the earpiece in the ear and not click.
They do not turn themselves off when removed from the ears or when inactive for a long time. Laid out on the bedside table, they were down to 1% by morning. Even though the Bluetooth on my phone was turned off.
They stick out of the ears a lot
You can't wear a hat, helmet or lie on a pillow with them.

I was perfectly happy with the XM4, especially the sound - until the battery died after a year, but that's another story. I expected more from the XM5.
Compared to XM4 better earbuds, smaller housing, more control options, longer lasting.
Overbassed sound with suppressed mids that can't even be properly equalized. Listeners of techno or hip hop will find it to their liking, but it is absolutely unsuitable for guitar music. The previous XM4s may not be perfect in terms of metal, but in this respect they easily surpass them.
Glossy finish. Aside from the appearance, at least taking the headphones out of the case is more difficult than it should be.
The touch sensor sometimes stops working. The headphones then need to be put in the case and taken out again to start responding.

I compared with Technics Eah az 80, the sound is almost similar but not as detailed as Technics. Otherwise, for me, a better headset than the previous model WF 1000Xm4, Better quality of reporting, ergonomics, and especially ANC. I would only criticize the end caps, which do not last long, and must be purchased.

Surprisingly good sound quality for TWS, balanced across the spectrum. I got an IEM+DAP for 130k, so I can compare and it's really not bad at all.

The box is pretty foul, the top lid squeaks. I would have imagined much better quality workmanship in this price range.
ANC distorts the sound, especially the bass, but that's the case with all of them. If you want the best sound quality, you must leave everything (ANC, Ambient, DSEE, EQ) off. I personally don't care, I don't use any of it.

I felt the sound while lovely was missing bass. also the noise cancelling was not that good. not a bad ear phone, but I preferred the Bose myself.
