A good monitor in what matters: image. Everything else is no good.
Good colours, decent backlight uniformity, good looking contrast for an IPS, great response and Overdrive implementation
Headphone output
The base stand is almost well high
Reasonable luminance can be set even at night, although this needs to be helped via user colour settings
I have a good feeling about the sound that comes out of it into the headphones
Worst control buttons on record.
A white diode in the face that needs to be taped over
Not much of a stand which is spiky and sticks out. It's soft and makes it harder to press the buttons. The hole for the cables is not even rubberized or anything and slides, so it basically does not perform the function of not pulling the cables with its weight.
Not much OSD menu (e.g. without the possibility of quick adjustment of the backlight), the manual is almost useless, the MBR does not work properly and so the monitor might not offer the function at all.
I don't much like the modern "antiglare layer". The colors look a bit metallic with it and generally weird on large areas with the same color.

This monitor is one of the best a person on a budget can afford. 165Hz screen with FullHD 1920x1080 resolution, 1ms response time AOC brand surprised me a lot what this monitor can do for the money. Without question the price, ratio and performance is top in its category. For movies, regular work, but mainly for demanding games, which is what I bought this monitor for. The boy is absolutely thrilled and the response is absolutely fantastic. If I can give advice to people making budget decisions, you can't go wrong with this monitor, absolute top of the line.

I bought the monitor for an old Benq GL2240 with a TN panel and a fixed frequency of 60Hz. I have been evaluating TVs in terms of quality for more than 10 years, so I have seen a lot of panels from different manufacturers. and I have to say that I was a bit scared of IPS because of its sensitivity to Light bleeding. So after purchasing, I connected both monitors to the same power supply and compared using pattern. And the black is blacker than on the TN panel (surprise for me), lightbleeding is easily visible, but the average user won't see this and it doesn't offend me as a pro. The colors are just great, the red is not orange like on the old monitor. Green is a deeper green, blue is darker and more saturated. The colour gradation displays the glow much later than with the original monitor. So for me: a very positive surprise. If I find anything else, I'll add it. I've only had about 2 hours to test it so far.
super viewing angles (expected with IPS)
freesync is really significant (no screen tearing)
great colours (normal, gamma 2, MBR or whatever it is on Strong)
I like the design
I was very pleasantly surprised by the uniformity of the panel (light bleeding, uniformity of colours, white really was green)
unfortunately I expected a greater reduction of ghosting compared to the old TN monitor. It's definitely better, but I still want more. But I guess it's due to the price level.
