Marantz SA-14S1 is not just a CD / SACD media player, it can also function as an external D / A converter. This brand new model is powered by the oversized toroidal transformer while the entire power supply section is a source of superior power. This is essential for a good platform capable of conveying high quality sound. The player is equipped with optical and coaxial digital inputs as well as USB-B for direct connection to PC / Mac. This results in direct and uninterrupted audio streaming even in HD thanks to HDAM-SA2 output modules. That is also why this product contains new isolator technology ground / signal, which virtually eliminates all other noises from your PC. The player can be used as a sound card for your computer while USB-B operates in asynchronous mode to be able to work with 192 kHz / 24-bit, as well as DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz for maximum versatility of use.
