I would like to warn anyone thinking of buying, especially if you use a Mac. It is possible that it works for someone and it really is as brilliant as it sounds in many reviews, but Rode simply does not know how to develop software, and even after hours of studying the instructions, I was not able to connect the device (or do the mandatory firmware update) either to Rode Central or to Unify, so I couldn' t even try anything it' s supposed to be able to do. I tried to get it working on a Mac M1, an Intel Mac, and then Windows. The problem is not only mine, many people report it. It' s a huge shame if it would work, it' s exactly what I need.
