It is possible to put a laptop on it. Some of them may even fit as they should.
Controls look downright cheap
Acer Nitro 5 17.3" will not fit on the pad. With the front stops up, it sits back off the pad.
The pad backlight cannot be turned off. If you plug it into a usb hub with an external power supply, it lights up all the time.
The power button only turns off the display and fans, not the backlight.
It forgets the fan speed settings after shutting down.
USB 2.0
The quality definitely does not match the price.

Two fans drive air onto the aluminum base, which is not perforated and thus, the air from the fans, flows on all sides and cools the laptop throughout the entire surface, the design is massive, digital display to adjust the speed, light, off and on, located in the front, easy to use.
